Danes are rethinking the open office..

Long before the first height adjustable desk hit New Zealand shores the Scandinavians were all fitted out with them. They lead the way worldwide with office design and layout - they have done since the stone age.


This article (in Danish but easily translated by right clicking and choosing translate option) discusses how the "one size fits all" approach to an open office is NOT working for them.


It showcases Danish companies who are creating different zones for different types of work. It's not throwing the open office out just adapting it to different needs.


Sounds sensible to me and dare I say it - something we have been advocating in other posts on this site ?
